Job Summary
Lead daily manufacturing operations for aircraft production in the LHA1 value stream (including V-22 program), sustain Lean Daily Management, analyze production data, manage tooling and work orders, and guide cross-functional teams through root-cause analyses and countermeasures. Develop and implement Standard Work Instructions, drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and deliver reliable value to customers through safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. Build and apply metrics to guide decision-making, and foster a strong Lean mindset while ensuring alignment across functions in a high-demand production environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations or Process Development/Improvement OR 2-year accredited technical degree plus 5 years of relevant experience OR 4-year Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Lean problem-solving experience using tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and similar methods
- Experience developing and implementing Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
- Willingness to periodically work additional hours to support program goals and production demand
