Job Summary
Perform as a body/fur-suit character meeting, greeting, and entertaining park guests with enthusiasm and high animation. Carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight while performing specific choreographed movements in crowds, heat, and cold for up to 45-minute intervals. Maintain clear speech and hearing acuity while constantly standing, talking, climbing, walking, reaching, and using finger movement, grasping, feeling, and speaking clearly. Work in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity, and temperature change, with masks required both on and off stage. All lifts over 51 lbs require help from a coworker or mechanical device. Overtime of adults may be required from time to time to accommodate business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight
- Must be able to work in crowds, heat, and cold for up to 45-minute intervals
- Must be able to perform specific choreographed movements
- Must be able to speak clearly
