Loom Mechanic

Repair, adjust, and overhaul looms to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime. Set up and start new jobs using established checklists to ensure accurate configuration. Diagnose and correct weaving defects such as skips, bad edges, and web slippage. Replace and adjust mechanical and electrical loom components, including springs, wires, and needle blocks. Perform routine oiling and greasing to maintain equipment longevity and reliability. Safely operate hand tools with precision and care. Assist in starting up new beams and binders, ensuring proper setup and alignment. Monitor loom performance, conduct electrical checks, and make speed adjustments as needed to improve efficiency. Requires 2+ years of experience repairing looms and industrial maintenance experience.
