Job Summary
Deliver age-appropriate, curriculum-compliant Social Science lessons using inquiry-based and student-centered teaching methods. Develop and implement creative, differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities. Conduct regular assessments and provide timely, meaningful feedback to track and support student progress. Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging classroom culture that promotes active participation and critical thinking. Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and student support strategies. Maintain accurate student records and communicate academic progress and behavioral insights to parents effectively. Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Social Science or related subjects at the primary level required. Salary 35k to 40k pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Social Science or related subjects at the primary level
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum framework and pedagogical best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent, with a specialization in Social Science or Elementary Education
- Proven ability to inspire and engage primary-grade learners through interactive and meaningful instruction
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Familiarity with formative and summative assessment, reporting systems, and parent-teacher collaboration
