Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing to supervise and direct the overall operation of the nursing department in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with current federal, state, and local standards. Responsibilities include monitoring scheduling and staffing to meet daily PPD requirements; assisting nursing staff with admissions, med pass and wound care; updating policies and procedures; coordinating with the MDS Coordinator on care plans and resident records; reviewing discharge plans; conducting rounds; supporting inspections and corrective actions; reporting occupational exposures and complying with regulations; safeguarding user ID practices; staying current with regulations; attending meetings and serving on committees. Requires RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year in a director/supervisor role, with English proficiency; PCC experience is a plus. COVID-19 vaccine is required per California state mandate.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Valid CPR and BLS card
- Minimum of 1 year as director or assistant director of nursing/supervisor for a skilled nursing facility
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
