Job Summary
Senior Project Manager/Leader for a 22-month contract based in Toronto, overseeing complex IT transformation projects that involve design, development, implementation, and integration of web-based and cloud-based solutions including APIs. Lead Agile practices (Scrum Master preferred), manage backlog and sprints, and coordinate use of MS Project, Planview, Jira, and Azure DevOps. Leverage cloud technologies (Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) and web servers (Solaris, Red Hat, IBM WAS, IBM Cloud Pak) to deliver enterprise applications. Onsite in Toronto.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10+ years of project management experience leading and planning complex, mission critical projects or initiatives involving business transformation, and design, development, implementation, and integration of IT solutions and services including web-based applications, Cloud-based services, and API’s.
- 10+ years knowledge and experience with designing, implementing and integrating web-based applications and/or cloud-based micro-services and solutions using full stack Java-based, and/or Microsoft .Net technologies.
- 7+ years of experience with Agile project management and development practices (Scrum Master certified preferred); managing the backlog, sprint planning, velocity tracking, Agile testing, retrospects, etc.
- Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, or Microsoft DevOps Azure.
- Experience with the implementation of web applications and services using cloud technology such as MS Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker; and web application servers such as Solaris, Red Hat, IBM WAS 8.0+, IBM Cloud Pak.
