Job Summary

Load, unload, and secure cargo from vessels, railcars, trucks, barges, and terminal storage areas while operating equipment such as forklifts, wheel loaders, skid steers, and cranes. Perform general labor duties including lashing, rigging, sweeping, shoveling, cargo preparation, and vessel cleanup. Follow all safety procedures in environments involving heights, confined spaces, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions. Work effectively as part of a team to support efficient vessel, rail, and truck operations while maintaining a strong attendance record and availability for flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Availability to work on-call with rotating schedules including day, night, evening, and weekend
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC which will be reimbursed after 40 hours

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction, warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, heavy equipment operation, or marine terminal operations
  • Enthusiasm for hands-on outdoor work, including tasks on the dock and within ship holds
  • Experience operating machinery, such as forklifts, loaders, and overhead cranes
  • Experience working at heights and in confined spaces
