Job Summary
Pull and deliver parts to technicians, picking up cores and warranty parts from stalls. Assist with stocking orders, shipping and receiving, and operating the forklift when necessary. Maintain the professional appearance of the parts department, keep the golf cart clean, and ensure high ethical standards in all actions. Work Monday through Saturday in an on-site environment at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid CA Driver's License and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- A minimum of one 6 months shipping and receiving experience, preferably in a parts department
- Knowledge of automotive parts
- basic mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages) and application
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- follow-up with internal and external guests
- read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- read and comprehends instructions and information in the English language
- work well with the public
- communicate in a professional manner on the phone, Internet and in person
- use standard office equipment
- Must be able to work Monday-Saturday
- Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds
- Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
