Job Summary
Inspect vehicles for damage and verify serial numbers against delivery paperwork. Complete electronic transactions and ensure all accessories listed on the invoice are present. Arrive on time for scheduled appointments, maintaining constant communication with sales personnel regarding any issues or schedule changes. Stay current with new product features, accessories, and benefits to explain them to guests. Introduce customers to dealership operations, including service and parts departments. Maintain high ethical standards, professional appearance, and sales/guest satisfaction objectives. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Full-time role with weekend and evening coverage; base hourly rate of $20.00. Valid California driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver's license
- Acceptable and safe driving record
- Ability to adjust, move, and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces
- Ability to frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year customer service experience in the automobile or technology industries
