Job Summary
Teach assigned classes and subject matters as scheduled while planning and implementing lesson plans aligned with state standards and district curriculum goals. Communicate program objectives to students, parents, and staff, and use a variety of assessments to evaluate learning styles and monitor academic progress. Organize instructional materials, arrange the classroom, and develop educational experiences that promote high levels of student achievement through active collaboration with staff. Proctor state and district testing activities, maintain accurate records, and submit required paperwork on time. Provide appropriate supervision, intervene to prevent bullying, and report suspected child abuse or neglect to civil authorities as required by law.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state department of education license/certificate as determined at the time of appointment
- Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators
