Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Special Education Teacher (Structured Teach) - Trailblazer Elementary School (September 2026 - December 2026)

Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher responsible for delivering an appropriate educational program for students with disabilities in a structured setting. Implement instructional strategies aligned with IEP objectives, diagnose and monitor student progress, plan individualized instruction, maintain confidential records, collaborate with classroom and content lead teachers, and participate in MTSS processes. Responsibilities include creating a conducive learning environment, providing progress reports, referring students for services as needed (e.g., ESL, Intervention), complying with district/state/federal regulations, and communicating with parents about student improvement and changes in services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with an endorsement in Special Education; Master’s degree and prior experience are preferred.
