Job Summary
Conduct daily math instruction, manage the learning environment, and assess student achievement using diagnostic, formative, and summative strategies. Plan lessons based on state and local curricula to address differentiated needs, analyze student data to inform instructional modifications, and communicate progress to students, parents, and stakeholders. Maintain a safe, orderly classroom by enforcing rules, implementing emergency plans, and collaborating with paraprofessionals and district personnel. Compile and submit all required reports accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to federal, state, and district policies.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Georgia Educator Certificate in assigned teaching field as required by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
- Possess and maintain valid and appropriate license, certificate and/or credential as may be required for this position.
- Follow work scheduling and attendance requirements in a regular, predictable and punctual manner.
