Job Summary
Substitute daily for absent professional staff in Grade 4 classrooms, adapting lesson plans to cover various subjects or grades as directed by the Principal. Maintain confidentiality of student and personnel information, ensure a safe learning environment, and report discipline issues to appropriate authorities. Provide summaries of activities, completed and uncompleted lesson plans, and other relevant information to the classroom teacher. Cooperate with colleagues, administrators, and parents while adhering to district policies and completing annual staff training. Directly report to the Principal and jointly report to the Superintendent regarding instruction and curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Non-Certified Teacher with a minimum of an Associate Degree or 60 College Credits
- Non-Certified Teacher with Bachelor's Degree
- MA Certified Teacher
- Haverhill Public Schools Retired Teacher
- Must possess the ability to adapt to a variety of lesson plans when covering various subjects or grades
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
