Provide instruction to students with disabilities in a long-term substitute capacity, aligning with WV academic standards and the Hampshire County Teacher Salary Schedule; plan/co-plan inclusive instruction (co-teaching), administer formative assessments, analyze data to support student achievement, implement IEPs and 504 Plans, collaborate with professional staff, and manage designated co-curricular activities while maintaining professional conduct and a commitment to school improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Professional Teaching Certification: Special Education
- Autism Certification Required or enrollment in coursework within the first semester of employment
- Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10
- Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2a
