Job Summary
Plan and deliver individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals by adapting teaching strategies and curriculum materials to accommodate diverse learning styles. Conduct assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses, then collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists to develop and align Individualized Education Programs. Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior incidents while using data to monitor effectiveness and adjust instructional strategies. Work closely with IEP teams to ensure behavioral goals match educational objectives and provide consultation on behavior management. This role supports students with various learning, behavioral, and developmental challenges within the Pentucket Regional School District during the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a special education teaching license through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- SEI Endorsement
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check
