Long Term Substitute - Spanish Teacher

Plan and provide learning experiences for students while supervising them in various school settings. Develop, select, and modify instructional materials to meet the needs of all students, adapting methods such as the workshop model and discussions. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes, assess progress, and adjust instruction accordingly. Communicate with parents, staff, and the community, and maintain positive interactions with colleagues. Create a classroom environment conducive to intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. Adhere to the Rhode Island Educator Code of Professional Responsibility and participate in district professional development. This long-term substitute role begins approximately October 14, 2026, for about 12 weeks to fill a leave of absence. A Bachelor's degree or higher is required, along with demonstrated proficiency in PC-based applications and Google Suite.
