Long Term Substitute: Paraprofessional/Educational Liaison

Long-Term Substitute Paraprofessional/Educational Liaison at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School to support students returning from extended absences through the SOAR Intervention program. Responsibilities include collaborating with the SOAR Coordinator to implement individualized re-entry support plans, communicating with classroom teachers to gather assignments and track progress, helping students organize and complete academic work across content areas, monitoring and documenting progress, and fostering positive relationships to support engagement, confidence, and accountability. Qualifications include an associate’s degree or higher preferred; experience working with adolescents (preferably high-school students); strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to support students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities; and being reliable, flexible, and team-oriented.
