Job Summary
Meet and instruct assigned middle school math intervention classes at designated times and locations. Prepare for daily instruction and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning. Employ varied instructional techniques to encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and literacy across content areas. Evaluate student progress regularly and maintain accurate records as required by law and district policy. Establish open lines of communication with students and parents regarding academic and behavioral progress. Cooperate with staff in planning instructional goals and participate in faculty meetings. Accept assigned co-curricular responsibilities and provide availability outside the instructional day when requested.
Required Qualifications
- R. I. Certification as Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, or Secondary School Teacher (as appropriate)
