Long Term Substitute German Teacher for Mt. Lebanon Middle Schools, August 12, 2026 to October 2, 2026 (36 days), full-time on-site temporary assignment. Starts at a degree-level daily rate of $297 per day based on credential. Requires active Pennsylvania PDE Instructional Certificate in German PK-12 and completion of required clearances/training. Assigned to Jefferson and Mellon Middle Schools for the 2026-2027 school year in a non-benefit, substitute capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in German PK-12
- Pending PDE-certified applicants may be considered with a college/university letter stating completion of PDE-approved teacher preparation program and passing scores on certification examinations
- Clearances and trainings required at hire: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34), FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114), Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168), Arrest/Conviction Form PDE 6004 (Act 24), School Personnel Health Record & TB Test
