Long Term Substitute Language Arts Middle School Teacher

Conduct educational instruction and supervision of assigned students in middle school language arts, implementing the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standard and Cumulative Progress Indicators. Plan a program of study tailored to individual student needs, create a conductive learning environment, and employ appropriate instructional methods to achieve curriculum goals. Assess student accomplishments regularly, provide progress reports, and counsel students, parents, and colleagues to guide maximum achievement. Manage the learning environment efficiently, supervise student behavior in hallways and lunchrooms, and assist in curriculum development and material selection. Attend staff meetings, serve on committees, and uphold school rules and administrative regulations as assigned by the supervisor.
