Long Term Substitute for eleventh grade Science for the 2026-2027 school year at the Academy of International Studies. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans using the district's curricula, providing instruction to students, participating on school- and grade-level teams, and attending parent/teacher conferences or required evening events. Candidate must implement effective teaching strategies and use data to inform instruction, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. Strong classroom management skills and knowledge of the Common Core State Standards for literacy and mathematics are required; experience working with a diverse population is preferred. Salary per CREC teacher contract.
