Job Summary
Long Term Substitute Elementary Teacher responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, analyzing student data, providing feedback and differentiated learning experiences, and engaging with families and the community to support student learning. The role emphasizes data-informed instruction, assessing student growth, maintaining safe and effective learning environments, and collaborating with colleagues to implement standards-based, culturally responsive teaching. Strong emphasis on planning high-quality lessons, using formative assessments, and communicating with families about student progress; requires Massachusetts DESE elementary license (1-6) and a Bachelor’s or higher degree, with SEI endorsement preferred and bilingual skills strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Elementary (1-6) in Massachusetts preferred
- Bachelor’s or higher earned academic degree
- SEI Endorsement on License preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) Strongly Preferred
- Knowledge of curriculum in Early Childhood and Elementary Education
