Job Summary
Teach Spanish to K-5 students and middle school Spanish 1/2; plan and deliver age-appropriate Spanish lessons; reinforce basic vocabulary, phrases, songs, and cultural traditions; maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment; collaborate with K-5 homeroom teachers to integrate Spanish with grade-level themes; input grades into FACTS and submit weekly lesson plans; demonstrate strong classroom management and organizational skills while upholding Catholic school values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field (teaching credential preferred)
- Fluency in Spanish (oral and written)
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Commitment to the mission and values of a Catholic school environment
