Job Summary
Senior Ability Analyst responsible for investigating and managing long-term disability claims to make timely, accurate, customer-centered benefit determinations. Analyzes medical, vocational, financial, and functional information to support initial and ongoing decisions; collaborates with claimants, employers, and medical providers; guides customers through the disability and recovery process; maintains professional communications; applies critical thinking and analytical reasoning to assess risk and resolve issues; works in a fast-paced, team-based environment and uses technology to manage claims while ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance. Requires HS diploma or GED; degree preferred; remote or hybrid schedule with office presence at designated locations; proficient with Microsoft Office; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 1+ years of customer service experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a structured and collaborative team environment
