Job Summary

Sales-focused role driving long-term care (LTC) territory growth for Acadia, building and sustaining relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and LTC facility leadership; delivering compliant clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement education tailored to customers; addressing questions and objections with advanced selling skills; developing territory business/action plans using data to maximize reach within budget; guiding pricing, reimbursement, and LTC profitability questions; collaborating cross-functionally with managed markets, marketing, operations, and training; representing Acadia at conferences and product launches; mentoring new sales specialists; maintaining regulatory compliance; travel up to 80% within a Lansing, MI or South Bend, IN territory and remote work within the territory as applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (life sciences preferred)
  • 3 years of sales experience with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales, neuroscience preferred
  • reside within the territory (or within 30 miles of its border) and ability to travel up to 80%
  • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to travel by air
  • must meet vaccination and facility access requirements for customer visits and events
