Job Summary
Long Term Care RN role at Tioga Medical Center in Tioga, ND. Responsible for directing daily activities of licensed practical nurses and CNAs, administering medications, wound care, IV administration, and participating in care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure holistic resident care. Provides nursing leadership, oversees adherence to policies, participates in admission/discharge/transfer processes, coordinates with physicians and families, ensures infection control and quality improvement activities, and supports survey readiness and staff development. Requires an RN license in ND, current BLS, and a nursing degree; ability to communicate effectively, supervise nursing staff, and work flexible hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State of North Dakota
- Current BLS certification
- Must have no disciplinary action in effect against license
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work beyond normal hours and weekends as needed
- Direct care and medication administration competencies
- Ability to supervise and lead nursing staff
- Knowledge of infection control and quality assurance processes
- Experience with care planning and documentation (EMR)
- Ability to coordinate with physicians, residents and families
- CPR/AED or equivalent
- Wound care and IV administration fundamentals
Desired Qualifications

- Ability to assess residents, coordinate with physicians and families
