Job Summary

Continuing Care Dispensary Pharmacist role in a long-term care pharmacy setting. Provide indirect patient care in a team-oriented environment alongside pharmacists, licensed technicians, assistants, physicians and nurses. Responsibilities include therapeutic evaluation of prescriptions, monitoring patient profiles/electronic charts, clinical services support, overseeing compounding and unit-dose packaging, and involvement in disease management and compliance programs. Requires Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, license to practice in Canada, and registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacists. Emphasis on professionalism, teamwork, strong communication, and willingness to participate in ongoing education. Potential relocation assistance and signing bonuses available. Shifts are Monday through Friday with minimal late evening and weekend work. Vaccination against Hepatitis A and B is required per Policy No. 433 and provided at no cost.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • License to practice Pharmacy in Canada
  • Registered with Alberta College of Pharmacists
  • Willing to participate in continued education
  • Good communication skills and excellent customer and staff relations
  • Ability to work as a team player

Additional Requirements

  • Hepatitis vaccination in compliance with policy No. 433 (vaccination provided at no cost)
