Job Summary
Record patient medical information accurately and monitor vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate. Assist with personal care, mobility, and medication management while providing emotional support and preparing meals. Perform specific tasks as requested by the supervisor and offer transportation and household support to long-term care patients in the South Miami area. Work part-time on Saturdays and Sundays, adhering to all company policies and rules. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively with families.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or LPN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNA or LPN
- Must be available to work weekends
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Above average physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check
