Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst contract role with start mid-2026 and end mid-2027, onsite in Toronto or Kingston, Ontario. Responsible for monitoring progress and reporting to I&IT management, leading business analysis to document requirements, applying process transformation concepts, conducting business and data modeling (use case, process, data flow, non-functional requirements), gathering requirements and developing documentation (presentations, briefing notes) and stakeholder engagement. Must translate business and data requirements into specs for technology solutions and bring healthcare/clinical context experience to stakeholder activities.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience monitoring progress, resolving problems and reporting regularly to business and I&IT management decision-makers
- Demonstrated experience leading and conducting business analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and documenting business requirements
- Demonstrated experience applying business process transformation and re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative, cost effective service delivery approaches
- Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects
- Experience conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement
- Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions
- Demonstrated experience in a health or clinical context
- Demonstrated experience supporting stakeholder engagement activities, particularly in a healthcare context
