Long-Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary
Transport countertops to and from FLOFORM branches and suppliers across Canada using a flatbed/semi-truck; follow set routes and report locations; plan routes using GPS; load/unload cargo; refuel and maintain the vehicle; complete related paperwork; operate a forklift and obtain certification; adhere to traffic laws and safety procedures; travel regularly within Canada, including overnight trips; maintain a positive demeanor with customers and colleagues; CDL must be kept current; role requires long hours with extended driving periods across varied winter conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Forklift certification
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 10 years of long-haul driving experience
- 1 year of experience with step deck, double drop or flatbed freight
- Knowledge of highway and road regulations
- Valid work permit
- Ability to operate a forklift (asset)
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs assisted
- Able to drive for long extensive periods
- Clean driving record and clear criminal record
- Comfortable driving in winter conditions
