Job Summary
Long Haul CDL Class A Driver responsible for transporting medical waste from Stericycle locations or customer sites to transfer or processing locations. Drive safety-compliant routes, secure loads, complete paperwork (manifests, route sheets), communicate changes to the Transportation Manager/Supervisor/Dispatcher, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to meet daily schedules. Overnight sleeper-cab travel with approximately two overnights per week, routes starting at 5:00 AM, serving Lincoln/Eagan MN area, with emphasis on timely and accurate waste transport under federal, state, and local regulations. Required Qualifications
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or Class 1/A-Z license
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- May require immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
- All CMV/CDL drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner
