Install, splice, and maintain lead and polymer primary cables and secondary cables in downtown and residential distribution systems. Perform switching, isolate, and ground equipment up to 27.6 KV while responding to customer voltage issues. Read blueprints, inspect contractor work, and use test equipment to ensure safe, reliable underground electrical infrastructure. Work on energized lines in close proximity to heavy traffic and confined spaces, complying with strict safety protocols and hazardous material handling. Drive a Class G vehicle to support scheduled and emergency operations across the network.
