Job Summary
DZ Driver/Picker at Miller Waste Systems is responsible for the safe, efficient residential waste collection, including Yard Waste, Blue Box/Green Bin, and garbage. Drives a 2-person truck or a 1-person side loader, lifting up to 50 lbs and making roughly 800-900 residential stops per day. Maintains high safety, professionalism, and customer service standards while complying with municipal, environmental, and company policies, and coordinating with residents, management, and transfer stations/landfills as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid DZ Driver's Licence
- Clean CVOR Abstract
- Team player with safe working habits
- Physically fit lifestyle preferred
- Follows safety policies and procedures (OHSA)
- Able to lift and load garbage bags or cans weighing up to 50 lbs
- Adhere to collection schedules and municipal/environmental regulations
