Job Summary
Design and implement age-appropriate music lessons aligned with state standards, teaching basic theory, rhythm, melody, and notation to young learners. Lead students in singing, movement, and instrumental activities while organizing school concerts and performances. Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, integrating music with other subjects to support cross-curricular learning. Assist teachers in instruction, tutor students individually or in small groups, and maintain accurate data on student progress. Manage classroom behavior, care for instruments, and adapt lessons for diverse learning needs. Respond to critical situations and perform additional duties as needed during emergencies.
