Job Summary
Mark and place stores in stock, package for dispatch, and participate in the movement of stores by road and within the depot. Monitor shelf life of stores and assist with audits and inspections while operating information systems for input and retrieval of store data. Maintain awareness of health and safety goals and objectives at the Orchard Hills site. This role supports the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance, and disposal of explosive ordnance systems. A full driver's licence is required, with willingness to obtain Forklift and MR licences.
Required Qualifications
- Full driver's licence
- Willingness to obtain a Forklift and MR licence
- Excellent attention to detail
- Very good numeric, oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience within a warehousing environment
- Security clearance
- Australian citizenship
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance
- Completion of pre-employment police checks
- Completion of medical checks (depending on role type)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within a warehousing environment would be an advantage
