Logistics Warehouse III Driver

Job Summary
Receive and store vendor deliveries, enter items into computer systems, and compile requisitions for district facilities. Load and unload items, drive delivery vehicles to distribute food and supplies to schools, and handle emergency deliveries or special events. Maintain organized warehouse areas, monitor inventories, and ensure proper food storage and safety standards. Perform vehicle inspections, ride along with routes to establish thorough knowledge of logistics delivery routes, and report facility concerns regarding heating, cooling, and ventilation. Communicate effectively with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and harmonious working relationships.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, HiSET or GED
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Driving record in compliance with district motor vehicle requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in a warehouse distribution, order fulfillment or production management or similar work experience
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with all levels of staff and administration
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement with strong project management and decision-making skills
- Detail orientated and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of service, sanitation, and safety standards regarding current Food Code
- Competency working in a multicultural environment or the willingness to acquire these skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to carry 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform manual dexterity tasks (telephone, computer, other)
- Must be able to sit, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, climb stairs, and drive
- Must be able to work frequent inside and occasional outside in extremes of temperature/humidity
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must successfully pass a child and adult abuse registry check
- Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting, a drug and alcohol test, a physical capacity test, and/or a motor vehicle record check if required for the position
- Must attend work on a prompt and regular basis
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Must maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees
- Must not have any 'no call/no show' incidents in the 12 previous months of actual workdays from the posting date
- Must not have any unauthorized time off during the 12 previous months of actual workdays from the posting date
- Must be in an active paid status at the beginning of the posting
- Must have one evaluation on file
- Must have no formal discipline during the 12 previous months of actual workdays from the posting date
