Logistics Warehouse III Driver

Job Summary

Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing vendor deliveries while entering items into computer systems. Load and unload materials, drive delivery vehicles to distribute food and supplies to district facilities and schools, and manage emergency deliveries or special events. Maintain accurate inventories, ensure warehouse cleanliness, and perform vehicle and equipment inspections. Establish delivery routes, monitor facility conditions, and report concerns to the warehouse manager. Full-time, 260 days, 8 hours. Requires CDL, high school diploma, and five years of warehouse experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, HiSET or GED
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Driving record in compliance with district motor vehicle requirements
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a warehouse distribution, order fulfillment or production management or similar work experience
  • Ability to demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with all levels of staff and administration
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement with strong project management and decision-making skills
  • Detail orientated and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of service, sanitation, and safety standards regarding current Food Code
  • Competency working in a multicultural environment or the willingness to acquire these skills

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must successfully pass a child and adult abuse registry check
  • Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting, a drug and alcohol test, a physical capacity test and/or a motor vehicle record check if required for certain positions
  • Must not have any 'no call/no show' incidents in the 12 previous months of actual workdays
  • Must not have any unauthorized time off during the 12 previous months of actual workdays
  • Must be in an active paid status at the beginning of the posting
  • Must have one evaluation on file
  • Must have no formal discipline during the 12 previous months of actual workdays
