Job Summary
Logistics & Warehouse Assistant responsible for managing the warehouse containing project materials and equipment, assisting in cargo movement requests, supporting fleet management and drivers’ orientation, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage, maintaining records for receipt and issuance of materials, assisting in haulage inspection and dispatch, updating inventory records, determining proper inventory levels and ordering quantities, and liaising with Field Coordinator to minimize inventory and prevent obsolescence. Requires ability to work independently with high-volume workflow, strong analytical and numerical skills, and proficient MS Office use. BS/BA in a related field with 1-3 years of experience; donor-funded procurement knowledge and inventory software experience are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Estate Management or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with donor-funded procurement rules and regulations is an advantage
- Experience using inventory management software is an advantage
- Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
