Job Summary
Manage a major business process from factory export to North America, overseeing Samsung WHs and direct shipments to customer DCs. Make business-related decisions involving ambiguous factors that impact operations, financial results, and vendor relationships. Measure logistics processes including on-time export, transloading, ETA, OTD, OTRQ, demurrage, detention, carrier activity, POD verification, and damaged product claims. Support the team in identifying Over, Short, or Damaged notations on PODs and negotiate carrier rates with 3PL management. Maintain constant communication with supply chain planning and the Sales team to develop advance solutions for improvements. Analyze the logistics environment to simulate and set monthly forecast targets. This role requires an 8-year work experience with a BA/BS degree in supply chain management or a related field. Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in supply chain management/Logistics, business or other related field
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Expertise with SAP (TMS, WMS, ERP)
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-look-ups, formulas, macros, etc.) and other Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- At least 8yr work experiences with supervisor managers skills
- At least 5yr work Supply Chain
