Job Summary
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensure organizational trade and regulatory compliance, and manage export/import documentation. Responsibilities include tracing shipments, providing timely shipment information, coordinating with freight forwarders, ensuring Letters of Credit/Letters of Export, Declaration of Conformity, Tariff Codes, and other shipping papers, and optimizing container loads under HM regulations. Requires 2+ years shipping/logistics experience in a manufacturing environment and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Location is onsite in Portsmouth, NH; role involves coordinating with multiple departments to finalize shipment details and ensure compliant delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years shipping/logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, database and internet-based programs)
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (HM Regulations, 49 CFR parts 100-185, IATA, ICAO, IMDG) and export/import documentation such as Shippers Letter of Instruction, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, VGM Declarations, SOLAS, AES filing
