Job Summary
LOGISTICS TECHNICIAN responsible for 2 Bin Inventory Management, Receiving and Delivery Chain of Custody Automation, General Stores Maintenance and Inventory Management, Receiving, Distribution, Picking, and Non Conforming Policy and Procedure Management. Requires a High School diploma or GED, 12 months stocking/receiving experience, familiarity with mainframe or PC systems, strong communication and customer-relations, organization and math skills, computer literacy, and ability to work as a team. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds (with equipment or assistance for heavier lifts) and adapt to change with good critical-thinking abilities. Located in Chicago, IL (60601) with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 12 months experience stocking experience and/or receiving experience preferred
- Experience with mainframe or PC computer systems
- Good communication and customer relation skills
- Good organization and math skills
- Must function as a 'team member'
- Ability to prioritize work flow
- Ability to adapt to change quickly
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
- For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available
