Job Summary
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment for loading and unloading ethanol, distillers and corn; ensure grain quality per contracts; weigh and grade raw materials and final products; load/unload by railcar and truck; complete records for shipments; submit work requests; maintain cleanliness and organization; monitor equipment status; supervise rolling stock upkeep (loaders, track mobile, skid steer, fuel loader); inspect equipment; coordinate with maintenance; ensure safety and compliance through SOPs; participate in safety training; communicate with grain grader and operations; input data into grain receiving software; collaborate with Production to ensure timely unloading; support chemical inventory tracking and supplier coordination; review COA's against standards; contribute to process improvements; comply with pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to greet customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work with all levels of staff
- Excellent Microsoft Office software skills
- Regulatory knowledge of state and USDA requirements
- Experience in grain receiving and grading
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in industrial production plants is helpful
- Ability to multi-task and take ownership of projects
- Maintaining knowledge of FRA, TTB and state regulations
