Job Summary
Inspect shipments for damages, record discrepancies, and notify supervisors or purchasing personnel. Deliver, sort, count, package, label, insure, and log inventory received from carriers. Unload incoming materials, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and prepare, stage, and load customer orders safely. Operate warehouse equipment including carts, dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, shrink-wrap machines, and pallet positioners. Adhere to cGMP rules, SOPs, company policies, and PPE requirements while maintaining a clean, organized environment. Work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday at a rate of $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years' experience in receiving, unloading trucks and material handling
- Must have a basic understanding of operating systems (used for inbound / outbound shipments)
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Must adhere to and follow all safety requirements/policies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Comply with all OSHA, cGMP, and company initiatives/policies including the use of PPE and safe material handling techniques
- Must safely operate carts/dollies, pallet jacks, pallet riders, and/or forklifts in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
- Be able to operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner
- Must follow all cGMP rules including SOPs, company policies and adhere to PPE requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with receiving processes in a WMS or ERP system
- 1+ years' work experience using Microsoft Applications
- Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and equipment, general knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's)
