Job Summary
Logistics Team Leader to oversee Peru operations from Lima, driving end-to-end logistics for consumables, optimize multi-region transportation networks, manage warehousing and distribution, and lead a high-performing team. Responsibilities include shipment scheduling, carrier relationships, multi-region logistics strategy, KPI dashboards, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, sales and service teams, budgeting and forecasting, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements include a Diploma or Master in a related field, extensive logistics leadership experience in mining/heavy industry/industrial consumables, strong ERP and KPI proficiency, and professional fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Master in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Extensive logistics or supply chain leadership experience in mining, heavy industry, or industrial consumables
- Strong expertise in managing transportation networks for heavy, oversized, or specialized components
- Proven ability to lead logistics strategies across multiple regions or countries
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency with ERP systems, logistics KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in managing complex vendor relationships and high-impact escalations
