Job Summary
Maintain internal logistics activities safely per EHS policies while ensuring quality requirements are met daily. Unload inbound trucks for materials returning to Bloom Energy for final assembly on skids and train materials team members using a hands-on approach. Track team attendance, report issues to the Logistics Supervisor, and run the material team from a process standpoint by communicating with management as required. Create, document, and sustain standardized work practices while identifying non-value added waste to recommend cost-effective elimination solutions. Conduct daily and monthly cycle counts. This fully on-site weekend role (Friday-Sunday, 6AM-6PM) requires forklift certification, 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience leading a team
- Experience and certification in forklift operation
- Proficient computer skills, including Excel and WMS type systems
- Ability to work with Bills of Lading and other shipment documentation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with all levels within the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships
- Highly motivated self-starter and ability to motivate and lead teams
- Must demonstrate safe work practices and attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite Friday-Sunday 6AM-6PM, flex hours and work occasional overtime as the business requires
- Must be able to perform job duties outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) and tolerate environmental exposure for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
