Job Summary
Lead and mentor the Logistics Team to break down, sort, prepare, stage, and stock inbound freight while implementing the Door-To-Floor in 24 hours process. Responsibilities include training and supervising the team, planning daily activities, ensuring freight is processed and stocked within 24 hours, maintaining stocking and presentation standards, coordinating with the Replenishment Team, collaborating with the Logistics Manager on process improvements, and assisting in Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Pick Pack and Ship (PPS) orders. Promote Fleet Farm customer loyalty programs and initiatives. Requires leadership experience in a retail warehouse environment, ability to motivate a diverse team, flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, forklift certification ability, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of retail logistics or general warehouse experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast changing environment
- Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse population that includes full-time and part-time Team Members
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively, implementing solutions, multi-task, and be flexible in a quick changing environment
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift and other material handling devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
