Job Summary
Lead and develop the Logistics Team to ensure inbound freight is broken down, sorted, stocked, and presented on the sales floor within 24 hours. Train and supervise the Logistics Team; plan daily activities and assign tasks; coordinate with the Replenishment Team to properly bin and locate stock; drive process improvements with the Logistics Manager; assist in BOPIS and PPS order preparation; promote Fleet Farm initiatives and loyalty programs. Requires forklift certification, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. High School Diploma or GED preferred. On-site role in Ankeny, IA.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of retail logistics or general warehouse experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast changing environment
- Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse population that includes full- time and part-time Team Members
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively, implementing solutions, multi-task, and be flexible in a quick changing environment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift and other material handling devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
