Job Summary
Logistics Support Officer for Medtronic's Heerlen DC, providing SAP-based operational support, problem solving, and process improvements. Responsibilities include resolving operational issues, maintaining process knowledge, applying 5-WHY/A3 DMAIC methodologies, supporting NPI and system setup, monitoring deviations, and collaborating with DC Analysts and other Medtronic locations. Requires extensive SAP experience, MS Office skills, English fluency (Dutch a plus), and availability for shift coverage between 07-22h. Office-based in Heerlen, NL.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of operational experience in a warehouse and distribution environment
- Extensive experience with the SAP system
- Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Dutch knowledge is a plus
- Available to work in a shift model between 07-22h (future shifts will become closer to each other)
- Work from Heerlen office and report to Logistics Manager
- Hands-on to resolve problems and strong continuous improvement mindset
- Knowledge of 5-WHY and A3 DMAIC methodologies
- Support improvement projects and process/system setup
- Monitor and report deviations from planning and objectives
- Organize, document, and maintain standardized ways of working
