Job Summary

Oversee inbound and outbound shipping operations, packaging, crating, and parcel activities to ensure efficient product movement and on-time delivery. Manage logistics performance metrics, including volume planning and contingency strategies, while analyzing staffing requirements to support operational demands. Lead the Logistics and Parcel Team, driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflows and minimize costs. Direct personnel in safe, efficient operations and conduct performance evaluations to foster team growth. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to resolve challenges and develop improved procedures for delivery reliability. This onsite role in Fort Worth reports to the Warehouse Manager and supports strategic business objectives within the Materials Department.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field from an accredited university; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading logistics, transportation, or supply chain teams
  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to drive process improvements and implement world-class logistics systems and processes
  • Knowledge and experience in transportation and supply chain operations
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous supervisory or management experience within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, CSCMP, or other supply chain-related disciplines
  • Experience with logistics management systems, transportation management systems, and performance metric reporting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and lead cross-functional initiatives within a matrix organization
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer-focused logistics strategies
