Job Summary
Supervise fleet operations by managing drivers, dispatching, routing, and planning deliveries, backhauls, and for-hire cartage to ensure safe, timely, and accurate service. Lead a motivated workforce while maintaining safety programs, reinforcing security awareness, and resolving operational issues with internal stakeholders. Track financial and delivery performance metrics, handle reverse logistics, and ensure compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies. Represent Sofo Foods with third-party providers and assist in training team members on processes and equipment. Requires three years of distribution center experience, a preferred bachelor's degree, and proficiency in TMS, WMS, and Oracle ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a multi-shift distribution center
- Previous experience as a logistics supervisor or a similar leadership position
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations and inventory management
- Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Transactions
- Experience with ERP Systems
- Experience with Finances related to Warehouse Operations
- Experience in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Powered Industrial Truck Certification (forklift) experience with stand-up, rider-reach, and rider trucks
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field preferred
